A TYPICAL SERVICE

The presence of God is welcomed and honored, the uncompromising preaching and teaching of the Word of God, and the fellowship with other of like same faith. James 4:8 "draw near to God and He will draw near to you”

Services begin with prayer followed by praise and worship. A message is given to help us apply scripture to ur own lives. Services are followed by fellowship and refreshments.

We are a modest size congregation with services intended for all to participate with the full intent to glorify the Lord with our spirit, soul, and body; Romans 12:1 “presenting our body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service”.

WORSHIP

Our Praise and Worship times include quiet times of waiting in the Lord’s presence and delighting ourselves in HIM. And other times may include spontaneous expressions of love and adoration to the Lord in a right and orderly manner according to the Bible. There is no real style of worship here at ALFCC, the worship reflects the variety of personalities, some people are quiet and reserved; some shout with joy; others are openly emotional during times of the service. No need of any worshipper to feel out of place.

Our Music Style: the music here at ALFCC is both contemporary and timeless classics and hymns. The music focus is up lifting and beautiful songs that will draw the worshipper closer to the Lord.

PREACHING

Our focus is to teach and preach the whole truth of God’s Word with a straight forward and practical approach that will help everyone to grow in their walk with God. Without compromise we can become fully developed disciples of Jesus Christ.

​We would encourage you to bring your Bible with you to use during the service. Feel free to use any form of the Bible you are most comfortable with, from smartphone to tablet or hard book. We reference from a few translations to get a larger grasp of scripture's meaning, but our most commonly used version is the NKJV.

DRESS

We welcome all to worship with us: suit, tie, jeans, dresses, and casual wear. All are welcomed.

CHILDCARE

We offer childcare for children up through the eighth grade. We have activities and instruction for preschoolers and grade school children. Your gradeschool child will be dismissed after the worship portion of our service to go to children's church.
